Kazak rugs were first woven in the Caucasus in the early 1800s. Now they are woven in Pakistan and Afghanistan where craftsmen have maintained the know-how for hundreds of years. The pile of Kazak is relatively low compared to other carpets in the East. As in Ziegler rugs, here they want to maintain a Vintage aesthetic using the stone wash method, giving them an Antique effect.
